Custom Lake Homes in Central Minnesota
A lake home should take advantage of the property it's built on.
MT Builders works with homeowners throughout the Alexandria Lakes area and Central Minnesota to build custom homes designed around the property, the views, and the way you want to enjoy your time at the lake.
Create a Home You'll Want to Come Back To
Lake living is about more than the house.
It's about gathering with family, spending time outside, enjoying the water, and creating a place you'll want to return to year after year.
Your home should support all of that.
Depending on your plans, we can build around features such as:
Large windows and views
Walkout designs
Garages
Decks and patios
Covered porches
Outdoor living areas
Custom layouts
Durable exterior materials
Build Around the Lake
Every lake property is different.
The lot, views, slope, trees, shoreline, access, and orientation of the home all influence the finished design.
A well-planned lake home takes advantage of those characteristics instead of fighting them.
